Sustainability

  • Limpsfield Tennis Club: we recycled wood following their badminton court upgrade, used for HG outdoor library, bird boxes and strawberry boxes 

  • Burnett Gardens (newly opened Youth Garden): supplied bird and bug houses 

  • Litter Angels: our members volunteer with the Godstone group 

  • Friends of River Eden Ecosystem (FREE): supplied “No Mow May” signs 

  • Sustainability Fair in Edenbridge: participant 

  • Reduce, Re-use, Repair event in partnership with Titsey Rotary: hosting 26/07/2026  

  • The Oxted Players: made poppies for “Journey’s End” production using donated materials 

  • Tools with a Mission: we donated old sewing machines to this Africa initiative 

  • The Bike Project, Guildford: helped store bikes due to links with Oxted Rotary 

  • The Friends of Limpsfield Common “Thursday Task Force” run in partnership with National Trust: we have supplied bird and bug boxes and cakes for their volunteers 

  • Local National Trust: Helping with seasonal displays using donated materials. 

Vital Partnerships and Well-Being Support  

  • Create and Connect (SEND parents): established following disbandment of Surrey Family Voice 

  • JOY Platform: member of the non-clinical community-based support social media platform 

  • Edenbridge Hospital Wellbeing Group: Referrals 

  • First Community Health and Care Team (social prescribing) 

  • South Tandridge Neighbourhood Community Group: we hosted and gave a talk on our services 

  • BoardMasters: newly founded for Board Game enthusiasts (2nd Friday in month) 

  • Surrey Young Carers: we provide respite workshops  

  • Alcoholics Anonymous: weekly meetings, extending hours to include weekend workshops 

  • Tandridge Handicraft Society: weekly meetings and Craft Exhibition 

  • Friday Country Market: weekly event and we have a stall 

  • Art For Life: holiday art workshops for children 

  • Sycamore Court, Robinsfield, Ormesby House, Champion Place, Beatrice Lodge, Charrington Lodge: we welcome members from these care homes/sheltered housing and attend coffee mornings/fundraising events 

  • David Gresham House: our members organise a fortnightly Bocca afternoon 

  • Arthritis Action: visit to give health advice to our members 

  • Right At Home: visit to give advice on preventing falls in the home.
